No fewer than 15 people were reported to have been killed in an attack allegedly carried out by suspected herdsmen in Ancha village of Maingo, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
According to an eyewitness report, the attack was carried out last night. It is suspected to be a reprisal, following an earlier dispute between the herdsmen and members of the community.
Channels Television correspondent who confirmed the attack, is still trying to reach the police authorities on measures to restore security.
