Nollywood actress and singer, Helen Paul has revealed that she was recently involved in a car crash in Abuja, and she had bruises on her face as a result of the accident.
The social media has been on overdrive since she made the revelation on Sunday, October 10, with some doubting if her black eye was from the accident.
The 43- year-old stand-up comedian made this known in an Instagram post she shared on her page, assuring her fans she is recuperating very well.
According to her, she suffered a concussion in the process, and she also shared a picture of her bruised face in the post.
She added that the accident was responsible for her recent decision to wear sunglasses while taking pictures, concluding that a lot of things are not what they appeared to be.
“Some time ago, I was involved in a car accident in Abuja. I suffered a concussion to my head and had to wear sunglasses for a while. When taking pictures with others, I would leave my sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them,” she wrote.
“Some even assumed I was being proud, being a star. They were oblivious of the true situation. Not all things are truly what they appear to be. Many are hiding a lot and showing the best side on social media.” She wrote
The talented comedian whose stages name is “Tatafo” bagged a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos in 2019 and she is the co-host of “Jara” an entertainment program on Movie Magic.
