-

Organisers of the Nigerian Broadcasters’ Nite, which just made a return to Lagos after touring some parts of the country, have said that songwriter/singer, Harrysong, will headline the next edition on Saturday, May 30.

The organisers also want those attending to come in their favourite club jersey.

The popular monthly show, which celebrates Nigerian broadcasters, returned to Lagos, after staging editions in Ibadan, Abuja and Kaduna.

This edition will celebrate Rhythm 93.7 FM’s DJ Humility and Brila FM’s ace presenters, Ogechukwukanma Ogwo and Murphy Ijemba, at Vapours Nite Club, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Ogwo and Ijemba emerged Most Popular Radio Sportscasters at the prestigious Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA) that was held in 2012 and 2013, in that order, while DJ Humility of Rhythm 93.7FM was crowned ‘Best In-House DJ’ in Nigeria at the maiden edition in 2011.

Murphy’s style on radio can be described as a combination of passion and energy.

For DJ Humility who hugged the spotlight when he won the Benson & Hedges DJ Championship in the early 2000s, the Rhythm FM’s famous in-house DJ has maintained a steady rise. DJ Humility has not only performed in some of the biggest shows held both at home and abroad, he has successfully staged personal shows, one of which is the yearly DJ Classics.

Celebrating the trio, the NBN is being supported by The Reality Entertainment in association with Vapors Nite Club.

De-Don and MC Lin Chung will anchor the event, which red carpet starts at 9pm.
