Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has said he is ready to swap all the 35 goals he has scored in the Premier League this season for winning a treble with the Citizens.

The Norway international broke the record for Premier League goals scored in a single season on Wednesday night, after Man City thrashed visiting West Ham 3-0 to regain the top spot on the league table from Arsenal.

With his 35th league goal of the season, Haaland surpasses a record held by former Man United striker, Andy Cole and ex-Newcastle United forward, Alan Shearer.

Pep Guardiola’s men with the crucial and comprehensive win over the Hammers are now in pole position to beat the Gunners to the title and win their 5th league trophy in six seasons.

They are also set for a double header with Real Madrid in the last four of the Champions League in May and will also face Manchester United in the FA Cup final in June, as they try to win a remarkable treble

Speaking to Sky Sports after the West Ham game, Haaland replied, “Yes” when asked if he would trade his goals for three trophies with Man City this season.

However, he added: “Everyone knows it’s possible but we cannot think of the FA Cup final now when we play Leeds in three days.

“If you do this you are not good in your head.”
