Crystal Palace Captain, Marc Guehi has defended his decision to repeat his Rainbow armband with the inscription “Jesus loves you” despite warning from the English Football Association.
The England international avoided punishment for writing the same message on his Rainbow armband earlier.
The 24-year-old wrote “I love Jesus” on the armband before Saturday’s game against Newcastle.

However, not put off by the warning, Guehi once again wrote “Jesus loves you” on his armband in the 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on Tuesday.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Guehi said, “I think the message was pretty clear, to be honest.
“It’s a message of love and truth as well and a message of inclusivity, so it speaks for itself.”
