Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has accused Tottenham Hotspur’s Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Levy of plotting with others to get the Premier League champions relegated to the English football lower tiers.

The Citizens were recently charged with breaching over 100 Premier League’s financial rules, after a four-year investigation that focused on a period of nine years ended.

If the allegations are successfully proven by the league authority, there is a possibility that Pep Guardiola and his men could be relegated from the Premier League to the Championship or other leagues.

However, despite all these possibilities, the Spanish tactician has remained defiant, laying the blame on the footsteps of the Chief Executive Officer of Tottenham Hotspur and others.

He also said if Man City eventually got relegated to the lower leagues, they would call upon club legends to come to their aid and play for them.

Speaking on Friday at the post-match conference of their game against Aston on Sunday, Guardiola said: “we will call Paul Dickov and Mike Summerbee.”

On whether the charges were driven by other clubs in the English top-flight, Guardiola pointing accusing fingers at Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy and others replied “Yeah of course.

“It’s the Premier League. You should go to the chairman, the CEOs, Daniel Levy, and ask them.”
