Gov primary: Heavy security at Lagos APC secretariat

Over 150 policemen are stationed at the Ogba secretariat of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party holds its governorship primary today (Tuesday).

The party chairman in the state, Alhaji Tunde Balogun, arrived the secretariat at 10.55 am.

The contest for the party’s governorship ticket is between the incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and Mr. Jide Sanwo-Olu.

The party has opted for a direct primary where card-carrying members would vote at their different wards.
