Google strengthens foothold in West African market

Google is strengthening its foothold in West Africa with the appointment of Upperlink Limited as its premier small and medium business (SMB) reseller in the region.

 

 

The new status upgrades Upperlink from authorised reseller to a premier reseller of Google Apps suite of communication and collaboration tools.

Google Apps reseller programme includes companies globally which sell, service and customise Google Apps for business for their customers.

 

As part of the programme, Upperlink will receive training, support and deployment tools from Google, as well as access to APIs for integrating Google Apps into customers’ business operations.

Google Apps ensures that business processes run seamlessly, improve efficiency and return on investment by integrating accessible and affordable technologically driven solutions.

Upperlink Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Segun Akano, said the programme is a critical component of the company’s business.

Using Google Docs and Google Sites, which include word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, website creation tools, SMB can share files and collaborate in real time, keeping versions organised and available wherever and whenever users work.
