God’s Appointed Hope for the Less-Privileged Initiative distributes cash to Indigents in Ondo

A non- governmental organization (NGO), the God’s Appointed Hope for the Less-Privileged Initiative in Ondo State has given out cash to indigents in Akure and other part of the country

The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Organization, Mr. Blessing Johnson Aliu while speaking with newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital stated that his resolved was to paid more attention to the plight of the poor and vulnerable so as to reduce poverty in the country.

According ro him, the Foundation, God’s Appointed Hope for the Less-Privileged Initiative was founded in the year 2003 out of the pain-gripped heart for the destitute (the less-privileged.

“The body is a non-governmental, non-religious, and nonprofit organization and is a charitable grass-roots foundation, whose Board of Trustees is composed of God-fearing, selfless, concerned, and committed people.

Aliu noted that the Foundation has had a lot of stories of success since the year 2003 when it was founded.

The Founder who lives his life for God and for helping humanity pointed out that ‘life that is well spent is the life that is invested in God’s service and for the help of humanity, most especially the less-privileged. ‘Let me impress this thought into your mind.”

“We shall be grateful if anyone can go into partnership with this Body or link her up with other caring and committed organizations, agencies, individuals, or philanthropists that could support her to extend a better life to the Destitute.

“What I am doing is poverty reduction which has become a major objective of my Foundation since its inception.”

“Let me say that my major aims and objective is to empower the elderly, widows and the less privileged. This is my little way to assist and empower them to become self-reliant and participate in economic activities that will boost the local market”, he said.

Aliu however urged beneficiaries to manage whatever they are able to get, stressing that there are many others who would be attending to in no longer distance.

“I have an unabated burden for the Less-privileged, most especially the Orphans, Vulnerable Children, and widows”, he added.
