God can reveal Tinubu’s certificate forgery, if you ask God in prayer, he says

Supreme Court Justices should pray to God to reveal the hidden secrets about Bola Tinubu’s alleged certificate forgery, because God can, former Senator Shehu Sani has counselled the jurists who seem confused about conflicting documents now before them.

Sani urged the Justices on the panel adjudicating the case to fast and pray to seek the face of God to reveal the truth and enable them deliver substantial justice in the appeal filed against the election of Tinubu by Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Justice John Okoro, who heads the seven-member panel hearing the appeal, noted on Monday there are conflicting letters from Chicago State University (CSU) on Tinubu’s certificate.

“This is a criminal matter that has to be proved beyond reasonable doubt. There are two conflicting letters from the CSU: one authenticating the president’s certificate and another discrediting it. Which do we rely on?” Okoro wondered at the hearing on whether or not to admit CSU documents Atiku presented to support his claim Tinubu forged his certificate.

The Constitution disqualifies anyone from becoming President who presents a forged certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

“If the Supreme Court received two conflicting letters from Chicago, the best thing for them is to go into fasting for three days; on the third day, God will show them the genuine one in a dream. We are a prayerful nation,” Sani wrote on X (Twitter) in his reaction to Okoro’s comment, per Daily Post.

A weighty, grave, and constitutional matter

Before Okoro’s comment, Atiku’s lead lawyer Christ Uche, SAN had argued the discrepancies in Tinubu’s academic records are a weighty matter and urged the Supreme Court to admit the documents as fresh evidence.

“The issue involving Tinubu’s certificate is a weighty, grave, and constitutional one, which the Supreme Court should admit. I urge the court to admit the fresh evidence of President Tinubu’s academic records from CSU presented by Atiku,” he pressed, per The PUNCH.

“The court should take a look at Tinubu’s records and reach a decision devoid of technicality. As a policy court, the court has a duty to look at it and should side-step technicalities.”
