Chelsea are likely to be without English forward, Jamie Gittens for their next UEFA Champions League (UCL) group game and a crucial London derby in November.

​According to The Standard, the west London club were dealt a fresh injury blow after Gittens limped off while playing for England U-21s on Friday night.

​The winger appeared to sustain the apparent injury after attempting to evade a tackle from Ireland left-back James McManus in the penalty area.

​He then headed straight down the tunnel after being replaced by Joshua King.

​The 21-year-old, a summer signing from Borussia Dortmund, is now a doubt for the Blues’ upcoming fixtures in the English Premier League (EPL) and the UCL.

​Chelsea play Burnley in the Premier League after the November international break, before back-to-back home matches against Barcelona and Arsenal.
