Ghana coach, Desmond Ofei has admitted that the Flying Eagles were better than his side after the Nigerian team retained their WAFU B U-20 Championship trophy in Togo.
He made this known while speaking after the Flying Eagles edged past the Black Satellites of Ghana on Wednesday night.
Nigeria successfully defended their title after defeating Ghana 2-1 at the Stade de Kegue, Lome, Togo.
Beyond Limits striker, Kparobo Arierhi grabbed a first-half brace for Nigeria to put the defending champions 2-0 up.

Ghana, however, pulled a goal back in the second half through Jerry Afriye to end the game 1-2.
While acknowledging that the best side won during his post-match interview, Ofei said, “Nigeria were better than us on the day,”
He added, “We also lost to them in Niger two years ago and you know the rivalry between the two countries.
“We will now push on and be ready for the U20 AFCON next year.”
