Ghana head coach, Kim Lars Björkegren, has predicted that the Super Falcons of Nigeria will beat Morocco in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), adding one more trophy to the nine in their cabinet in the process.
He made this known on Friday after his team defeated WAFCON defending champions, South Africa in the third place match.
Nigeria parade some of the best players on the African continent and are the most successful side in the history of the competition.
The Black Queens lost 3-1 to the Super Falcons in a pre-WAFCON friendly last month.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s final, Björkegren said he believes Justine Madugu’s side have the quality to beat the hosts.
“I think it’s going to be an interesting game, both teams are a little different, but I think there is potential and more quality in Nigeria,” the Swede tactician said.
Nigeria won their first two group games against Tunisia and Botswana before battling to a draw against Algeria.
The West Africans then blew away the Copper Queens of Zambia 5-0 in the quarter-finals and edged past South Africa by a 2-1 margin to reach the final.
