Ace Nigerian actress and movie producer, Genevieve Nnaji, has made her first appearance months after reports that she is battling mental health challenges emerged on social media.
The thespian who had sparked concerns some days after her birthday in May this year was seen at the Creative Nexus Weekend in Abidjan, Cote d’ivoire.
Prior to being seen at the event, her fans and other Nigerians became apprehensive about the Nollywood actress’s state of mental health after she deleted all her Instagram posts and unfollowed her colleagues on the platform.
Nnaji had since been largely absent from the social media and Nollywood events scene.

She, however, was sighted at the 2022 edition of the Creative Africa Nexus as one of the speakers at the events.
Also known as the CANEX Weekend, the programme is expected to run from Friday, November 25 and will end on Sunday, November 26.
The event is a gathering of Africa’s brightest minds and is aimed at showcasing the diversity of talents from across the continent and the diaspora.
Genevieve Nnaji is not the only Nigerian celebrity expected to participate at the event, popular music star, Yemi Alade, is also scheduled to perform at the event as a headliner.
