Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has described ego as a disease, she also advised people with such a problem to seek cure by loving themselves

Nigerian actress, producer, and director, Genevieve Nnaji has advised individuals and celebrities with ego to drop such and seek help through self love.

The 42-year-old gave the advice via her Instagram story, where she described ego as a disease, which needed cure

Genevieve, who believes people develop ego for lack of love, admonishes individuals who seek love to start by loving themselves because charity begins at home.

She also added that those who desire to be free from ego must practice self love to attract love from others. 

Ego is the disease. Love is the cure. Charity begins at home; so begin by loving yourself. Do what you must to get help and heal.

“When you learn to love yourself, that is what you will receive. The mirror will only project what it is shown.” the multiple award-winning actress posted. 

Genevieve Nnaji won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actor to win the award in 2011,

She was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government for her contributions to Nollywood.
