Gaya said: “We have Vice-President Osinbajo and Bola Tinubu. I am aware that some aspirants have stepped down for Osinbajo. Nnamani and two others have stepped down for Osinbajo.”

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has gained the delegates of three aspirants in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, claims the Director-General of the Yemi Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, Senator Kabiru Gaya.

Gaya, in an interview with Channels Television, said the delegates that would be voting for Osinbajo have increased after three presidential aspirants stepped down for him.

Recall that the list of Presidential aspirants in the presidential primary was trimmed by the party’s governors from the North.

Gaya claimed that three Presidential aspirants have stepped down for Osinbajo.

However, the senator failed to identify the three aspirants, only claiming that former Senate President Ken Nnamani who stepped down on Monday did so in honour of Osinbajo.

He said: “We have Vice-President Osinbajo and Bola Tinubu. I am aware that some aspirants have stepped down for Osinbajo. Nnamani and two others have stepped down for the Vice President.”
