The police on Friday confirmed the death of five persons during explosion at a gas station in Suleja, Niger.
Mr Abubakar Yahaya, Police Area Commander, Suleja, confirmed the death in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Suleja.

He said the police were immediately deployed to the scene to safeguard further loss of lives and property.

“Some staff of the company said three staff and two customers lost their lives, while those injured were rushed to Sabon Wuse General Hospital.”
Dr Adedokun Abdulaziz, the Medical Director of the Suleja General Hospital, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that two people that sustained high degree burns were referred to a specialised hospital in Zaria.
