Paris Saint-Germain manager, Christophe Galtier, inadvertently dismisses reports of Kylian Mbappe’s restiveness at the French club after saying he has shown selflessness since returning from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Mbappe, who returned to his club ahead of schedule after the World Cup, scored from the penalty spot as PSG edged out 19th-placed and relegation-threatened Strasbourg 2-1 in the Ligue 1 match played on Wednesday night.
Speaking at the post-match press conference of the encounter, coach Galtier hailed the 23-year-old for his selflessness.
He went on to claim that the France international striker brought his stunning World Cup form to club football.

He said, “I think he is on the level of what he did in Qatar. He’s benefited from a few days off.
“Despite the sadness, he had an exceptional tournament, and his recovery means he’s been on the pace,
“Since his return, he was determined to play our next two matches. He was the trigger for victory when it was tough. He has taught the whole team with his selflessness.”
