Benito sent tongues wagging in May, during an Instagram chat, when he said his dad and step mum had broken up and cheated on each other

Benito, son of Nigerian filmmaker and songwriter, JJC Skillz and step son to Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has said he has been vindicated after his father announced his separation from the movie star.
The thespian’s step son sent tongues wagging on social media in May, during an Instagram live chat when he alleged his father and step mum were no longer together and had been cheating on each other.
Benito during the chat said, “Funke Akindele and my dad both cheated on each other. They are not really together.”
JJC Skillz and Funke promptly denied his claims and went further to quell the alleged breakup as they openly displayed affection on social media during this Father’s Day celebration.

Funke took to her Instagram page to celebrate JJC Skillz in a bid to put paid to the rumors that they had split up.
She wrote, ” Happy Father’s Day darling!!! Thank you so much for being a wonderful and caring father. We love you God bless you more Baba Ibeji of life!”
Reacting JJC Skillz took to her comment section and replied: “Awwwww thank you darling, God bless and protect us #familyfirst #thebellos.”
However, barely 11 days after the public show of affection, the 45-year-old filmmaker returned to social media and confirmed Benito’s assertion that he had separated from the movie star while noting that their union is now beyond repair.
Benito who has always truncated the couple’s attempts to paint a rosy marriage picture through revelations of stunning and brazen dirty details of the celebrity couples finally had the last laugh, after his father’s public admittance.
He took to his Instagram account after the news of his father’s split with Funke and wrote, “I spoke the truth mehn.”
