Ace Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, seems to be holding her head high, despite the announcement by her ex-husband and filmmaker, JJC Skillz, that their marriage is over.
In a new development, the mother of two took to her Instagram page to share an inspirational video with her followers urging them never to give up no matter how hard the situation gets.
In the clip, the thespian who recently got an invitation by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to join the 2022 Oscar organisers, wore a lovely attire as she smiled for the camera.

The now-viral video was also accompanied by Mary Mary’s song ‘Can’t Give Up Now’ as she tries to employ the lyrics of the song in lifting her spirit and that of her fans. She, however, kept mum on her marriage breakup.
The lyrics of the song read, “I just can’t give up now. I’ve come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me the road would be easy.”
Funke Akindele also left a caption on the video which read, “Stay brave, stay ambitious, stay focused, stay strong.”
After sharing the post, members of the online community trooped to her comment section to compliment her dress sense among other things.
