Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has emulated his predecessor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike with the launch of his own live band.
The band came alive shortly after the governor’s speech during the flag-off of the construction of 20,000 Housing units in the Ikwere area of the state.
The band was heard singing, “Dey your day make I dey my dey, nobody worry nobody, ” to the excitement of the crowd.
Prior to this, live band was commonly associated with the FCT Minister, who has since fallen out with his political godson and current governor of the state.

The crisis has since culminated in political tension in the state, with Wike and Fubara fighting for control of the state.
Recently, about 27 Rivers State lawmakers loyal to the former governor defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Party (APC) due to the face-off.
In response, the state government pulled down the state Assembly complex, claiming that the structural integrity was compromised after it was bombed.
So far, about seven Commissioners have resigned from the Governor Fubara-led administration.
