Governor of Bayelsa state, Duoye Diri, has appointed a first class law graduate, Blessing Ebizi Eradiri, as the new face of the Bayelsa girl child.
Blessing displaces a former BB Naija housemate, Nengi Hampson who was given the position after the lockdown edition of the reality TV show.
Blessing is a first class law graduate of the Niger Delta University (NDU). The also came top at the Nigerian Law School Lagos Campus. Her exceptional academic performance earned her an automatic employment as a lecturer in the NDU.
Blessing’s appointment has rested the controversy that trailed the choice of Nengi as the face of Bayelsa girl child. Those who criticised her appointment said other than her pretty face and participation in the BB Naija, they could find no other reason.
