Fireboy DML signed to YBNL Nation in 2028 and released his debut album, ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps’ the following year

Popular Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, has bragged that he snubbed deals from heavyweight artistes and music executives before settling for Olamide’s YBNL Nation record label in 2018.
He made this known during a recent interview with Billboard News in Los Angeles, United States.
According to the ‘Peru’ crooner, he accepted Olamide’s deal because he knew it was “the right decision.”

Speaking during the chat Fireboy DML said: “I rejected a couple of deals from big artists that wanted to sign me. But when Olamide came, I knew it was the right decision. And that process has really helped me in making decisions going forward,”
Also discussing his relationship with
legendary pop star, Madonna,
during the now-viral interview, the Afrobeats star said his date with the American singer is the “most memorable day” of his life.
Describing the experience, he said: “I went out on a date with Madonna and I would say that was probably the most memorable day of my life. It was an experience.
