After getting a valuable draw against Canada in the opening game, Nigeria’s Super Falcons striker Ifeanyi Onumonu, is eyeing a positive result in their next game against Australia

The US-based attacker was in action in the game against the Olympic champions Canada and produced a decent performance to threaten the backline of Canadians.

While speaking through NNF TV, Onumonu said they’ve watched the game against Canada all over and noticed that they got space more than they thought.

“I think just trying to get more opportunities like that would be great for us, I’m trying to be efficient at the same time too.

“We watched the game back and I think we saw that we had a little bit more space than probably we thought we did.

“I’m looking forward to the next game and starting to just play off each other some more.

“Hopefully, in the next game against Australia, we create more opportunities, I think we just getting out the first game nerve,” she said
