Fifteen customers of Fidelity Bank will be enriched with N39 million at the final draw of its Get Alert in Millions Campaign (GAIM) Season 4 savings promo in Lagos on July 22.

GAIM, which promotes saving culture among Nigerians, is one of the bank’s initiatives that reward new and existing customers for loyalty and patronage.

Though the event was not held in 2020 because of the pandemic, hundreds of people have benefited from the scheme in which winning customers are credited with millions of naira and consolation prizes via a draw system.

Fidelity Bank Promo Committee Chairman, Richard Madiebo, expressed delight at the resumption of the promotion, recounting that the bank has used the channel to change the fortunes of customers for 12 years.

He said the bank takes pride in keeping its promises and will continue to create innovative ways to satisfy and enrich its customers across the nation.

His words: “And as we wind down on the 4th season of the GAIM promo, we are elated at the prospect of not only driving financial inclusion across Nigeria, but also at the unique opportunity to enrich the lives of our customers especially in times of economic uncertainties.”

Over the years, Fidelity Bank has intensified efforts and innovated ways to satisfy both customers and stakeholders.

Last month, Fidelity Bank gave out N150,000 to 62 Sweet Account (SWEETA) holders nationwide, totalling N9.3 million, to mark Children’s Day 2021.

The gesture, the bank said, is to deepen customer engagement as it readjusts its customer relations by putting a smile on their faces by enriching their lives through its savings loyalty programme.

Cheques were presented to the beneficiaries at children’s events organised by Bounty Kiddies Bites & Event, Katsina; Zeelove Event Management; Pamvilla Primary & Secondary School; Refiner School; Ilupeju Junior & Senior Secondary School; Orphanage Home, and IDP camps in Katsina, Niger, Abuja, and Lagos.

Fidelity Bank CEO Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe stressed that quality education remains a strong anchor in raising children and breeding exceptional ones to compete globally.

“This is why we have decided to contribute our quota as a bank by offering school fees support to select Nigerian children,” she said.

She urged individual Nigerians and corporate entities to support positive causes that would ensure a secure future for children.

Fidelity Bank Product Development Head, Richard Madiebo, encouraged prospective and existing customers of the bank to open SWEETA accounts for their children and wards to participate in the programme.

The bank has given out a total N4.1 billion to 10,280 customers (7,367 FPSS and 2,913 SWEETA) since the inception of the loyalty scheme.

In keeping to its promise of rewarding N500,000 “extra income” and N150,000 “School Fees Support” to active FPSS and SWEETA holders every quarter, the bank conducted random electronic selection of beneficiaries across regional banks/branches in the first quarter of 2021 (Q1 2021).

It conducted a virtual cluster loyalty selection for Fr. Hillary Group of St. Peters Catholic Church, Awka which produced an “extra income” of N500,000 for Ngozi Cynthia.
