He was appointed as the Chairman of Aviation Roadmap Implementation Committee in January 2022 by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, a position he effectively combined with his office as the General Manager, Special Duties at FAAN.

Yadudu on his part, replaced Engr. Saleh Dunoma, who was sacked in 2019 barely 48 hours after leading Sirika, to commission some projects at Lagos, Ibadan, and Benin airports.

Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Capt. Yadudu, was the Director of Operations at FAAN

Details of why he was removed by the FG barely 9 days to the end of President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration are still sketchy at the time of this report.

Meanwhile, a gale of resignation of senior personnel has hit the apex civil aviation regulatory: Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

According to THE NATION, reasons for the mass resignation is predicated on underhand moves by the Ministry of Aviation to alter the rules to enable the controversial national carrier – Nigeria Air take – off before May 29, 2023.

A source also hinted that the Ministry of Aviation is putting NCAA under pressure to waive some aspects of regulation to see the controversial  carrier airborne before the administration signs out in less than nine days.
