A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, better known as FFK has gone spiritual as his party’s gubernatorial candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu battles the Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in the Lagos State governorship race.
Sanwo-Olu is the incumbent Governor of the state and he is seeking re-election for his second term, while LP’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and PDP’s Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran a.k.a Jandor are his major contenders.
While supporters of Peter Obi in the just concluded presidential election are backing Rhodes-Vivour, other residents of the state have vowed to ensure victory for either Sanwo-Olu or Jandor.

Taking to social media on Saturday morning, Fani-Kayode prayed for Sanwo-Olu and asked God to help the governor secure victory in the ongoing and tightly contested election.
FFK tweeted: “I invoke the name and power of Yeshua HAMASHIA, He that is high and lifted up and He whose train fills the Temple to unfold His counsel, effect His will, establish His purpose and glorify His name in this great and historic battle.
“Let the boastful heathens be humbled and let those that believe that man and money alone can do any and all things see and feel the awesome power of Heaven and the might of our God.”
