Fernandes in 185 appearances for Manchester United has found the net 64 times and registered 54 assists

Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has been named as Manchester United’s captain by the club manager, Erik ten Hag.
This was revealed on Thursday, July 20, via a statement shared on the official website of the Premier League giant.
Prior to this development, Ten Hag had stripped England international and former captain of Man United, Harry Maguire of the armband amid the defender’s uncertain future.

The statement confirming this reads in part: “Bruno Fernandes has been named as the new club captain of Manchester United,”
Fernandes has already worn the Red Devils’ armband on numerous occasions in the past as the vice captain to Maguire.
However, Raphael Varane was named captain for United’s first pre-season friendly against Lyon at Murrayfield on Wednesday, with Fernandes unavailable having been given extra time off following international commitments in June.
The Red Devils arrived in the United States on Thursday for a 12-day tour, though Ten Hag will be without midfielder Fred who has remained in England due to personal reasons.
The 28-year-old Portuguese has found the net a total of 64 times and registered 54 assists in just 185 games for Man United since joining in 2020.
