The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has countered the
4 + 4 campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari, which seeks to give him another term of four years in office.
In a video posted on his twitter timeline, the former governor said that what the president will get on February 16, the day of the presidential election, is 4 + 0, meaning that his administration will end in one term.
Showing off four fingers of his right hand, and making a knuckle of the left hand to illustrate the 4 + 0, Fayose said: “2019 to 2023, it’s zero. Buhari is not going anywhere. Bye Bye to Buhari. Shi ke nan (That is it).”
On the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onoghen at the Cod of Conduct Tribunal, Fayose said it is shocking that: “Orji Kalu who was declared wanted by the court for jumping bail is everywhere campaigning for the President and APC. Why didn’t the FG act swiftly in arresting Kalu as it acted on the petition against the CJN?
“The speed with which the petition against the CJN was acted up clearly exposed the sinister intention of the Presidency. How is it explainable for a petition to be written on January 7, received by the CCB on January 9 and charges made against the CJN on January 11?” he queried.
