Fans relieve Wizkid’s Made in Lagos concert

On Sunday, December 23, Lagos, Nigeria was agog as singer, Wikid’s concert, Made in Lagos held amid fanfare. The concert took place at the Eko Atlantic City and featured top artistes from Nigeria and abroad.

Singers KCEE, Runtown, Slimcase Malik Berry; Afro B, Tiwa Savage, Mr. Eazi; Harrysong, Duncan Mighty and a host of other popular performers headlined the concert.

It was touted as the biggest entertainment show in Lagos this year.

Social media was on fire prior to the show with everyone either showing their tickets for the show or talking about it and others saying they don’t mind sleeping on their way back.

The singer earlier tweeted the hashtag for the show to his over four million Twitter follows which set the tone for the concert.

Wizkid has been busy lately on international tours and announced to his fans few hours before Made in Lagos that he has just returned from Abidjan, the Ivory Coast capital.

“God bless you Wizkid”, a fan tweeted after the show. Made in Lagos was so real and full of love. I can see how jovial you are,” the fan said.

“Wizkid is the real king of the street #MadeInLagos concert just proved that, next time choose your date wisely. 10k vip, sold out, Silver table 1m, sold out, Gold table 2m, sold out, Platinum table 3m sold out. I love the way TeamWizkd always prove doubters wrong,” another fan said on Twitter.

The highlight of the show was when a fan rushed to the stage and prostrated for Wizkid who returned the favour.

Comedian, Basketmouth was the host of the show.

After the show, the singer was seen in another event organized by Olamide, a fellow Nigerian singer.

Olamide had been in the eye of the storm lately for his new song featuring Lil Kesh after the duo sang Logo Benz, a song many say promotes ritual killing and cyber crime.
