Former Minister of Aviation Minister, Fani-Kayode has hailed former President Goodluck Jonathan for receiving the presidential and vice-presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima respectively in his Abuja residence.

Jonathan, who suffered a lot of criticism from the APC and particularly Tinubu while he was in power, welcomed the duo with smiles on Tuesday night.

In a message posted across social media platforms, Fani-Kayode said Jonathan is one of the most civilised, compassionate, capable and humane leaders that the country has ever known.

He wrote, “I am delighted that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima, the flagbearers of our great party the APC for next year’s presidential election and our incoming President and Vice President respectively, had the presence of mind, maturity, decency and humility to honor him with a visit yesterday in order to brief him about their efforts and plans for our collective future as a nation and to pay their respects.”
