He called on other religious leaders to emulate late Prophet Fakeye. The Church should be a safe haven for people, including our leaders, to run to for salvation. The Church should be a place of honour, where only the truth of the Gospel is spoken at all times. G. O. Fakeye was a bridge builder. He believed in the Nigerian project and lived for peace, tolerance and harmony among Nigerians.”

“This is indeed a great loss, not just to me as the Spiritual Father of the church, losing one of our main Apostles, but as a Church, losing one of her brethren. He was God’s General. He was an Evangelist per excellence. We’ll miss him greatly”.

The Baba Aladura added, “He was a great servant of God. He is a blessing to the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide. He preached the world of God across the world with passion, and conversely, led a humble and exemplary lifestyle. He was a giant labourer in the Vineyard of our Saviuor Jesus Christ, and I am particularly happy that God planted him in the Cherubim and Seraphim fold.”
