FABWA to attract over 5,000 participants in Lagos largest trade exhibition

Nigeria’s business environment is about to witness one of the largest shows as the Food & Beverage West Africa (FABWA) exhibition is slated for Lagos in June.

According to the organizers, over 500O participating food and beverage outlets will exhibit their products from Africa, Europe and other countries of the world.

Director of BtoB, the organizer of the trade show Jamie Hill is delighted to see more demand for exhibition space.

“We anticipate there will be more than 5000 visitors representing food retailing, production and distribution as well as the hospitality, who will be keen to see the latest development and business opportunities from more than 300 exhibitors.”

The trade show is expected to run between June 13 – 15th and will see exhibitors from more than 30 countries.

Ten countries would have a new pavilion featuring food, drinks, equipment, and services from India Dubai, and Russia, while the United Nations International Trade Center (ITC) will be sending a delegation of West African producers, including delegates from Gambia, and Liberia. Indonesia will also be sending a delegation.

FABWA has become the largest trade event organiser with expanding exhibition portfolio in Nigeria.

The show partner is the Restaurant & Food Service Proprietors Association of Nigeria (REFSPAN) said through its spokesman that FABWA gives its members ample opportunity to meet with key players in major parts of the world that are beneficial to the dynamism and the growth REFSPAN desire to promote more and expand the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business in Nigeria.

Organizers say demand for spaces is high as the show organisers are working with the Landmark Center on Victoria Island, Lagos, to add a fourth exhibition hall to the event.

The show according to the organizers is capable of doubling its floor area size just as last year’s event sold out.
