A task force has been established by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to generate more revenue internally to augment government allocation.
NAMA Managing Director, Saleh Dunoma, who heads the panel, disclosed this at a meeting with regional and airport managers in Lagos, where he urged them to recover revenue at the point of collection and to apply sanctions where necessary.
He also mandated the managers to step up efforts at recovering debts and initiating non-aeronautical revenue streams to meet targets.
Dunoma reiterated the commitment of FAAN to delivering services of international standards and charged the managers to promote a healthy working relationship between aviation security services and other agencies at the airports
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Institute of Business Development (NIBD) has praised FAAN for its cooperation and collaboration with the institute.
NIBD Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, Paul Ikele, expressed the institute’s readiness to continue to collaborate with FAAN to establish best business ethics.
