Former Super Eagles forward, Bello Musa Kofarmata has died after a brief illness.
TheNiche learnt Kofarmata, who also played for Kano Pillars died on Tuesday, November 1, in his hometown in Kano at the age of 34.
The deceased began his footballing career in 2007 with Buffalo F.C of Kano and later joined Kano Pillars in the same year.

In 2010, he had a stint with Heartland FC of Owerri but later returned to Kano Pillars in 2012, before crossing over to Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.
He sealed a deal with IK Start of Norway, following a spate of trials with the team. With Kano Pillars, he won the Nigerian Premier League for 2007-08 and was the top scorer that season having netted 11 goals.
The former striker was part of Nigeria’s contingent to the 2007 FIFA U20 World Cup in Canada. He made his Super Eagles debut in March 2010, coming on as a substitute in the 5-2 friendly match win over DR Congo in Abuja.
Kofarmata was buried in accordance with Islamic rites in his family house in Kofarmata, Kano State on Wednesday, November 2.
