Ex-PFN President Omobude condemns attack on Apostle Suleman

Omobude, in a statement on Sunday by his media aide, Ralph Okhiria, urged law enforcement agencies to urgently bring the perpetrators to justice.

Immediate past national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Felix Omobude, has condemned the attack on the convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Suleman, who is the president of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), was attacked last Friday on his way to Auchi, Edo State by gunmen. Six people in his convoy were killed.

Omobude, in a statement on Sunday by his media aide, Ralph Okhiria, urged law enforcement agencies to urgently bring the perpetrators to justice.

The former PFN national chairman, who is also the General Superintendent of the Gospel Light International Ministries (New Covenant Gospel Church), thanked God that Suleman survived the attack with the aid of a bullet-proof Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in which he, his wife and children, who joined him from the airport in Benin, Edo State capital, were riding to Auchi.

He commiserated with the families of the victims of the attack.

Omobude said an attack on one Nigerian was an attack on all Nigerians.

He urged the Federal Government to prioritise the security and safety of the lives of all Nigerians.

Omobude also advised all Nigerians not only to be security-conscious at all times but to always give credible information to law enforcement agencies about suspicious criminal activities in their neighbourhoods.
