Borson said the accusations against Man City are more grievous than the ones levelled against Everton, Forest

Manchester City’s former financial adviser, Stefan Borson, has said the Premier League (PL) championships will be relegated into a lower tier of the English league if they are found guilty of their 115 charges levelled against them.
He made the unpleasant assertion while featuring on talkSPORT recently.
Last year’s treble winners are currently facing a long list of accusations regarding their finances between 2009 and 2018.
PL has also accused the Manchester club of failing to co-operate with resultant investigations.

Although Man City have denied the claims, Premier League’s chief executive, Richard Masters confirmed recently that a date has been set for a hearing.
Speaking on the development, Borson argued the accusations against Man City are more grievous than the ones levelled against Everton and Nottingham Forest.
He said: “The scale is on a completely different level [to Everton and Forest].
“There can be no question that this will end in at least relegation – that’s no question, if those charges are proven.
“There’s a suggestion of conspiracy over effectively a 10-year period. They [Premier League] are suggesting that City’s main sponsorship agreements are not for £50-60m but are actually for £8m and the whole thing was a sham.”
