Jordan slammed footballers for behaving badly despite getting huge wages, arguing that some of them will be working in fast food restaurants but for soccer

English businessman and former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, who made his fortune in the mobile phone industry, has criticised the huge amount offered to Phil Foden by Man City in his new contract.
The Citizens tabled a deal worth a whopping £225,000-a-week for the four-time Premier League champion, Phil Foden, and he is expected to put pen to paper soon.
The proposed deal is will keep the 22-year-old Englishman at the Etihad for six years, and an official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days

However, Jordan, who seems to be stunned by the England international’s impending new salary, has queried the decision.
“The average person won’t earn what he earns in one year in 300,” Jordan said on talkSPORT
Jordan, a former club owner himself, said he and others in the business get fed up when football stars such as Foden, get such huge pay and fail to appreciate how fortunate and privileged they are.
He added, “They walk around like impending doom, like the world’s on their shoulders.
“If it wasn’t for football, some of these guys would be working in fast food restaurants.
“But £10million a year is unbelievable,”
