There are eight teams left in the competition, apart from Sunderland, who are from the League One, the rest are all premier league teams.

English soccer fans who had hoped for major upsets, only saw the ouster of Man City by West Ham in the rounds of 16.

It was a competition Man City had made their own, winning it five times in six years, and consecutively in the last four years.

The Carabao Cup quarter-finals draw will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021, between 10.30 am -12 pm BST.

The draw will be conducted by Jimmy Bullard and John Fendley and English soccer fans and their counterparts all over the world cannot wait.

They were joined in the quarter-final 24 hours later by Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Liverpool and Leicester City.

With the eight teams now decided, the Carabao Cup’s quarter-final fixtures are due to take place in December, while the final will be played at Wembley in February.
