#EndBadGovernance protesters plan one last stand on Saturday to mark the milestone originally intended as the 10th day of the march against hunger from August 1, which got truncated on Day 6 because of intimidation and attacks at protest grounds by official security agents and private thugs hired by Bola Tinubu and his proxies.

Take It Back Movement National Coordinator Sanyaolu Juwon, also one of the coordinators of the hunger protest, disclosed the finale of this cycle of protest is scheduled across the country simultaneously.

“The Take It Back Movement (TIB), side-by-side with other organisers and organisations will on August 10, lead a monumental one-million-man protest in each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja,” he said.

“This event will mark a critical juncture in our nationwide EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.

“It started as a planned 10-day protest but has evolved into a sustained and widespread movement, drawing participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.”

The protest saw large turnouts across the country, especially in the North, although it was hijacked or disrupted my miscreants hired by the government in some states.

Tinubu made a national broadcast about the protest last Sunday, asking the youths to back down and give his administration more time, but the agitation went on for some more days in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna, and other parts of the country.

The general consensus is that Tinubu did not address the issues raised by the protesters and only struck to his own talking points without making any concessions to assuage the raw but genuine grouses of the youths.
