Barring any unforeseen circumstances or last-minute change, the embattled former Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele will be arraigned by the Department of State Services (DSS) for the Federal Republic of Nigeria Tuesday next week.
He will be arraigned before Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on a supposed two counts charge preferred against him.
Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja recently ordered the DSS to release Emefiele from detention forthwith or charge him to court immediately.\
Following the court order, the DSS has formulated a two counts charge bordering on alleged possession of gun and live ammunition (cartridges) against the former CBN governor.

Expectedly, Godwin Emefiele will take his plea on Tuesday July 25.
Last week a coalition of 60 lawyers approached a high Court in Abuja seeking the arrest of the Director General of DSS, Yusuf Bichi, over contempt of court.
The lawyers are contending that the refusal of Bichi to obey a court order which demanded the release of Emefiele, was contemptuous.
But the DSS, in a reaction on its Twitter handle, described the coalition of the 60 lawyers as charge and bail, Biafra agitators.
