Ekwueme, Adefuye for St. Cecilia Choir’s anniversary

Laz Ekwueme is among dignitaries expected to attend the silver jubilee of St. Cecilia’s Choir of St. Denis Catholic Church, Akoka Bariga, Lagos today, Sunday, May 22.
The professor of music, musicologist, and orchestra conductor will play the dual role of chairman and performer.
He will conduct the Laz Ekwueme Chorale (LEC) which will render Latin Motets.
Senator Anthony Adefuye will be the special guest of honour at the event, which will hold at the church hall.
Choral groups that will perform alongside the LEC male voices and mixed choir are St. Giles Choral Society and Thomasian Choir of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Catholic Chaplaincy.
