EFCC operatives visit Obi’s house, polling unit

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday visited the home of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The operatives arrived in an unmarked white Toyota Hiace bus but did not find Obi at home. They proceeded to Amatutu Ward 2, Polling Unit 019 at exactly 10:25 am, refusing to speak with journalists.

The leader of the EFCC team was seen having a chat with the members of INEC in the unit, urging them to call the commission’s helpline if they need help.

The EFCC team lead also had a brief chat with Obi who was on his way back from a tour of the village.

Meanwhile, reports also say operatives of the anti-graft agency were at the Shettimari polling unit 001 in Lawan Bukar ward of Maiduguri metropolis where the vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima, is expected to vote.

EFCC operatives were also at the polling unit of the APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in Lagos.
