EFCC mocks Yahaya Bello in cartoon over request to travel abroad for medical concern

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has published a cartoon on its official website showing a white lion pleading for permission to travel abroad for medical concern.
Yahaya Bello is nicknamed the White Lion. He last week filed an application seeking an approval of a Federal High Court in Abuja to allow him to travel abroad for a medical check-up.
Bello is standing trial for alleged money laundering amounting to N80.2bn, and he is being prosecuted by the EFCC.
In the cartoon, the White Lion pleaded to be allowed to travel abroad to treat a case of mild hypertension. A black eagle refused the request, saying a case of mild hypertension could be treated with pawpaw and banana. Moreover, the black eagle reminded the White Lion of the specialist hospital he built in his state which could easily handle such medical concern.
