A former Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Kabiru Turaki, was on Monday arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

In the charge, Kabiru Turaki was alleged to have used the two companies belonging to his aide, to perpetrate  fraudulent activities.

However, the defendants pleaded not guilty to the charge and were granted bail by Justice Ekwo in the terms and conditions of bail earlier granted first defendant (Kabiru Turaki) by the EFCC.

Trial was thereafter fixed for June 22, 2020.
