Education is a liberating force, Oba Arasanyin tells Okeagbe High school students

The Ajana Afa of Okeagbe paramount ruler, Oba Mofolorunso Adegboyega Arasanyin, Okeladeokin Arole Agba I has described education as a liberating force for an individual to be independent in thoughts in future.

Oba Arasanyin made this known on Friday while addressing the students and Teachers of Okeagbe High School in Akoko North West Local government area of Ondo state. He said there was need for more dedication on the part of the teachers because they shape the future by inspiring and nurturing young minds.

According to him, a child who has been educated will have his own independent ideas and thoughts which will make him relevant to his society in future.

The monarch noted that there was need also for the students to study hard, “because I see education as the key to having a successful future.”

“Education is the key to success in life and it is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”, he said.

“To parents, Oba Arasanyin urged them to give their children maximum support for natural development of their tender age

“The best form of investment any good parent should be willing to bequeath to his or her child is education as the profits are endless regardless of social class”, he said

The first class monarch therefore commended the Vice Principal of the school,.Mrs A.A. Anifowose for driving the teachers to ensure that the pupils performed well academically, adding that the task of bringing up the child required devotion and commitment.
