Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson has confirmed he will be staying at the Etihad Stadium beyond this summer moments after winning another silverware with his teammates.
The Brazilian started between the sticks as the Citizens defeated local rivals, Man United on penalties to win the Community Shield game on Saturday.
Prior to this, the shot stopper was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, having become discontent with life at the Manchester club.
However, after discussions with manager Pep Guardiola and the board, the Brazilian decided to continue at Man City.

Speaking after adding another silverware to his cabinet, Ederson said: “The decision has been made. I will stay at Manchester City this season.
“I spoke to Pep and it was crucial… I’m happy to stay, fully focused on winning more titles here.
“I also spoke to the board, directors, teammates and I’m staying.”
Meanwhile, new Man City recruit, Savinho came on as a second-half substitute during the Community Shield game played at the Wembley Stadium.
While assessing the former Girona winger, Guardiola said he was impressed by his versatility and confidence.
He said: “Good impact playing both sides. He is really good, look at the goal we scored—high line and cross—but not just inside, he was aggressive.
“Always with wingers, if you have the confidence, attack the defenders, he did really well.”
