Ebuka, while attempting to calm frail nerves during the launch of ‘BB Titans’, argued that Nigerian youths are very capable of multitasking

Media personality and Big Brother Naija reality show anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has promised Nigerians that the hosting of the 2023 edition of the TV reality show will not stop Nigerian youths from voting during the upcoming elections.
The BBNaija organisers recently shared their plans for a new season of the show tagged Big Brother Titans (BB Titans), which would be a combination of both Nigerian and South African housemates.
The show will last for three months as it is slated to begin on January 15 and end on April 2, 2023.
However, a lot of concerned Nigerians have criticised the timing of the hosting of the new edition of the reality show, arguing that airing it in January will distract youths from actively participating in the 2023 general election.

Most critics of the decision to host the show close to the election expressed concern due to the level of fellowship and the interest the reality television show often generates among the youth.
While attempting to calm frail nerves during the launch of Big Brother Titans, Ebuka said: “Nigerian youths are very capable of going out to vote and also coming back to watch whatever they want to watch.”
Unlike other editions, the ‘BB Titans’ will take place in South Africa and will be hosted by the duo of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and South Africa’s Lawrence Maleka.
