Ebonyi State Police command Wednesday paraded the Co.ordinator of Ohaozara Development Centre, Ene Odii Ogbonnaya for allegedly torturing and assaulting a 15-year-old girl, Miss Uzoamaka Unogbo of Umunaga village in Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state.
Ene and two of his brothers were said to have stripped Uzoamaka, whipped her with cables and thereafter posted her nude pictures and videos in the social media.
Police also disclosed that two police officers indicted in the crime were undergoing police disciplinary procedures for prosecution.
The command also paraded three other persons for alleged child-trafficking in the same area.
One of their victims, Esther Agbowo(f) of Nkalagu in Ishielu council in company of her father disclosed that she was lured with two children to Delta State by one Ekene who claimed to be a Pastor in the guise of marriage after introduction rites to her people .
She said that
at Asaba, she was abandoned by the man and her two kids were taken away from her and sold off.
The command said that it remains resolved to combat all forms of criminality in the state.
