Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, will on Sunday, December 7, be honoured with the Onoguvo-Obanyi (Greatest Helper) of Ebira people by the Ebira community in Lagos.
It is part of events marking the maiden edition of Ebira Unity Day in Lagos.
To foster unity, peace and prosperity among members of Ebira Community Association (ECA), Lagos, is the objective of the celebration, TheNiche gathered.
ECA is a fully registered socio-cultural group that has been in existence for 18 years.
According to a statement signed by the secretary of the association, Sadiq Abubakar, all roads lead to the expansive venue, Bakare Disu Memorial High School, Agege, by noon on that day when the Ebira people will showcase their rich culture, including dances and cuisine.
The honour on Fashola, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) is for his excellent performance in the state during his tenure and with whom the association has had a cordial relationship.
